Patriots sign Doubs, Jones in free agency.

The New England Patriots signed WR Romeo Doubs to a 4-year, $70 million deal and EDGE Dre'Mont Jones, aiming to rebuild their offense and defense.

Doubs' contract is reportedly a 4-year deal, worth between $68 million and $80 million. He's coming off a season with 55 catches for 724 yards and 6 touchdowns with the Packers. The Patriots clearly have high expectations for the 25-year-old receiver. Jones' contract is for three years and totals $36.5 million. The deal includes a $11 million signing bonus and $23.1 million guaranteed. He'll have a $7.16 million cap hit in 2026. New England was interested in Jones at the trade deadline last year. Jones, 29, played for both the Titans and Ravens last season, racking up a career-high seven sacks. The Patriots are looking to improve their pass rush after recording just 35 sacks last season.
