RayNeo Debuts Batman AR Glasses

AR wearables company RayNeo unveiled a special Batman Edition of its new RayNeo Air 4 Pro smart glasses at MWC 2026. The new model, which became available for purchase on February 27, represents a growing trend of tech companies using major entertainment franchises to market new hardware.

The special edition glasses are available in two variants: the "Justice Edition" themed after Batman and the "Chaos Edition" with a Joker motif. Both come with a detachable cowl that snaps onto the front of the frames, allowing users to switch between a standard look and the themed appearance. The package also includes a Batman logo on the temple of the glasses. Priced at a $319 MSRP, the Batman editions carry a $20 premium over the standard $299 RayNeo Air 4 Pro. However, early bird pricing brings the cost down to $269 for the Batman version and $249 for the standard model. This positions the glasses aggressively against competitors like the Xreal 1S, which is priced at $449. Under the hood, the Air 4 Pro boasts specifications aimed at entertainment and gaming. It projects a virtual screen up to 201 inches and is the world's first augmented reality glasses with HDR10 support, offering a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The device features dual Micro-OLED displays with a 1920x1080 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz for smooth visuals. Audio is handled by a quad-speaker system tuned by Bang & Olufsen, designed to create an immersive soundscape with minimal leakage. The glasses weigh 76 grams and connect via USB-C to devices like smartphones, PCs, and the Nintendo Switch 2, mirroring their display. This focus on media consumption has led TCL to describe the device as a "head-mounted OLED TV."
