Lil Uzi Vert Confirms New Album

Lil Uzi Vert co-signed rising artist 2slimey and confirmed that a new album is on track for release this year, teasing fans with the prospect of fresh music. The announcement comes as Uzi continues to innovate and influence the hip-hop landscape.

The upcoming album follows Lil Uzi Vert's 2023 release, *Pink Tape*, which made history as the first rap album to top the Billboard 200 chart that year. The album sold 167,000 equivalent units in its first week and featured artists like Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, and Bring Me the Horizon. Prior to the *Pink Tape*, Uzi had teased several other projects, including a mixtape titled *Barter 16*. This project was intended as a homage to Young Thug's *Barter 6* and was to be executive produced by London on da Track, but was ultimately scrapped in favor of a new album. Fans have been anticipating the third installment of the *Luv Is Rage* series after Uzi hinted at *Luv Is Rage 3* following the success of *Pink Tape*. The original *Luv Is Rage* mixtape dropped in 2015, with the sequel, Uzi's debut studio album, arriving in 2017 and becoming their first No. 1. In late 2025, Lil Uzi Vert announced a new distribution deal with Roc Nation, making them one of only three artists, alongside Jay-Z and Rihanna, on that roster. This move allows Uzi to fully own their masters and operate as an independent artist. The co-sign of 2slimey is part of a larger pattern of Uzi supporting emerging artists. They have been seen collaborating with and showing support for various figures in the underground music scene.
