InterhumanAI debuts API

InterhumanAI released a Social Intelligence API aimed at letting products analyse social dynamics and audience behaviour, positioning the tool for marketers building data‑driven campaigns. The launch is being shared via a short demo video from the founder that highlights API use cases for social analysis. (x.com)

InterhumanAI has started rolling out an application programming interface, or API, that lets other products analyze social signals such as tone, posture, and engagement in real time. (interhuman.ai) The Copenhagen startup says its system is built as a “social intelligence” layer that can plug into existing artificial intelligence products, rather than as a standalone chatbot or avatar. Antler, one of its backers, said the company’s models are designed to pick up verbal and non-verbal cues and interpret them during live interactions. (interhuman.ai) (antler.co) A public GitHub page from InterhumanAI describes wrappers for authentication, video-upload analysis, and real-time streaming analysis endpoints, indicating the company is exposing those capabilities to developers. The repository was updated on February 16, 2026. (github.com) Social intelligence software tries to do for behavior what speech recognition does for words: turn signals people already give off into machine-readable data. InterhumanAI says its models combine computer vision, audio analysis, and behavioral science to translate facial expression, body language, and voice patterns into contextual “social signals.” (interhuman.ai) (tech.eu) That framing puts the company in a different lane from tools built mainly to classify emotion labels. Co-founder Frederik Sally told Tech Funding News that InterhumanAI focuses on observable behaviors such as hesitation, disagreement, confusion, or engagement, arguing those cues are more useful in real-world products. (techfundingnews.com) The API arrives after InterhumanAI raised €2 million in a pre-seed round announced on August 25, 2025. Tech.eu and other outlets reported that PSV Tech led the round, with participation from EIFO, Antler, The Yope Foundation, and angels linked to Ada Ventures. (tech.eu) (eu-startups.com) Investors and the company had already said that funding would be used to build out the API and platform and expand the technical team. Early use cases named by the company and its backers included healthcare, learning, training, coaching, customer service, and sales practice. (techfundingnews.com) (arcticstartup.com) The immediate pitch is to companies that want software to judge not only what a person said, but how they said it. In examples cited by the company and investors, that could mean an AI coach tracking confidence and clarity in sales training or a digital health tool adjusting to signs of hesitation during a conversation. (eu-startups.com) (antler.co) InterhumanAI’s public launch materials are still sparse, with the company website offering a broad product description and GitHub showing only one public repository. But the combination of a live developer repo, a founder-led demo post on X, and last year’s funding plan suggests the company has moved from research and positioning into an early developer rollout.
