QCY to Launch Track S10 Sports Smartwatch
Wearables brand QCY has announced the upcoming launch of the Track S10, a new sports-focused smartwatch. The device is designed for athletes and is built for precision, performance, and endurance. The launch expands QCY's portfolio of high-performance wearable technology.
While primarily known for its dominance in the budget-friendly wireless earbud market, Chinese electronics brand QCY is signaling a strategic push into more specialized wearables. Founded in 2009 and affiliated with Hele Electronics, the company has previously achieved top-five global rankings in True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headset shipments. The Track S10 enters a highly competitive sports watch arena dominated by established players like Garmin, Coros, and Polar, who are known for their deep ecosystems and loyal user bases among serious athletes. QCY's success will likely depend on leveraging its strategy from the audio market: delivering high-end features at a disruptive price point. Hardware specifics for the Track S10 include a 1.43-inch HD AMOLED display with a sharp 466x466 resolution and a peak brightness of 1000 nits for outdoor visibility. For accuracy, it incorporates a dual-frequency, six-satellite GNSS for precise location tracking and multi-channel sensors for heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO₂) monitoring. The device is explicitly tailored for triathletes, supporting over 150 sport modes with a focus on swimming, biking, and running. It offers advanced training metrics rarely seen at lower price points, such as lactate threshold monitoring and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) analysis to help users gauge recovery status and prevent overtraining. Despite its feature set, the watch maintains a lightweight profile at just 37 grams and is rated for 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming. The Track S10 is set to launch in March and will be available in Black and Titanium colorways.
