Astrana Health Revenue Jumps 56%

Astrana Health reported strong 2025 results, with total annual revenue reaching $3.18 billion, up 56% year-over-year. The company's adjusted EBITDA for the year was $205.4 million, signaling significant growth in its healthcare operations.

The company, known as Apollo Medical Holdings until a name change in February 2024, has been on a strategic growth path to broaden its footprint in the value-based healthcare sector. This model focuses on incentivizing healthcare providers based on the quality of patient outcomes rather than the volume of services. A significant portion of Astrana's recent growth is fueled by major acquisitions. The company recently completed the purchase of Prospect Health for $708 million, a move expected to add approximately $1.2 billion in annual revenue. This followed the acquisition of Collaborative Health Systems from Centene in 2024. This aggressive expansion has significantly increased Astrana's reach. The company now manages care for over 1.6 million patients through a network of more than 20,000 healthcare providers across multiple states, including California, Texas, and Arizona. Under the leadership of President and CEO Brandon Sim, who took the helm in January 2024, the company has emphasized a physician-centric, technology-powered approach. This involves using a proprietary tech platform with data analytics and AI to help providers in its network manage costs and improve patient care. Looking ahead, analysts have a "Strong Buy" consensus rating for Astrana's stock (ASTH). The company's own guidance for 2025 projects total revenue between $3.1 billion and $3.3 billion, indicating confidence in its continued growth trajectory within the evolving healthcare landscape.
