London's LO-LOW Breaks Techno Boundaries
London-based DJ LO-LOW is gaining recognition as a "techno genre-fluid warrior" with emotionally charged sets that challenge genre boundaries and emphasize community and radical expression on the dancefloor. Before taking to the decks, LO-LOW, whose real name is Lois Browne, was a journalist for CLASH Magazine. This background in music journalism provided a deep well of musical knowledge that informs her eclectic and genre-defying sets. Her identity as a "lifelong club kid" further fuels her passion for creating euphoric and sweat-soaked dancefloor experiences. Beyond her DJ residency, LO-LOW is the co-founder and co-host of the long-running radio show Melatrois, which has been on the air for eight years. She has also contributed mixes to notable platforms such as Black Techno Matters, Oroko Radio, and Parfait's podcast series 'Commes Dans Les Films'.
