Stellantis to build Peugeots in Wuhan 2027

Stellantis said on May 15 that its Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile joint venture is expected to begin producing two all-new Peugeot-branded new energy vehicles at its Wuhan plant from 2027. The company said the models will be aimed at the Chinese market and export markets, tying the program to Peugeot’s international growth plan. The announcement came in a joint statement with Dongfeng Group that also outlined plans to build two Jeep-branded off-road new energy vehicles at the same site from 2027.
