Ondo's Tokenized Treasuries Integrated by Phemex
Crypto exchange Phemex has completed the full integration of Ondo Finance's tokenized U.S. Treasury products. The exchange now offers 14 of Ondo's tokenized stocks and ETFs to its 10 million users. The move significantly increases the accessibility and secondary market liquidity for real-world assets on-chain.
- Ondo Finance is a leader in the tokenized real-world asset (RWA) sector, with over $2.5 billion in total value locked (TVL) as of January 2026. The firm commands approximately 50% of the tokenized securities market. - The 14 assets integrated by Phemex include tokenized versions of major tech stocks like NVIDIA (NVDAon), Tesla (TSLAon), Apple (AAPLon), and Amazon (AMZNon). It also includes tokenized ETFs that track the Nasdaq 100 (QQQon) and the S&P 500 (SPYon). - Ondo's flagship institutional product, OUSG, is a tokenized short-term U.S. Treasury fund with over $770 million in TVL. Their yield-bearing stablecoin alternative, USDY, has surpassed $1 billion in TVL and is available across nine blockchains. - The firm was founded in 2021 by Nathan Allman, who previously worked in the Digital Assets Global Markets division at Goldman Sachs. - In December 2025, Ondo Finance announced that a multi-year investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was closed without any charges. This provided significant regulatory clarity for the company's U.S. operations. - To bolster its regulatory standing, Ondo recently acquired Oasis Pro, a company holding broker-dealer, Alternative Trading System (ATS), and transfer agent licenses from the SEC. - Key infrastructure partnerships include using Chainlink as the official data oracle for its tokenized securities to ensure institutional-grade pricing. Ondo has also partnered with the Pyth Network to provide price feeds for its USDY token across more than 65 blockchains. - Beyond Phemex, Ondo's tokenized assets are being integrated across DeFi, with initial lending markets for tokenized stocks and ETFs going live on platforms like Euler.
