South Central Railway has added a weekly summer special between Hazur Sahib Nanded and Hazrat Nizamuddin, giving the route 16 extra trips through the end of May. (scr.indianrailways.gov.in) Train 07621 leaves Nanded on Saturdays from April 11, 2026, to May 30, 2026, for eight one-way runs. Train 07622 returns from Hazrat Nizamuddin on Sundays from April 12, 2026, to May 31, 2026, for eight more. (scr.indianrailways.gov.in) The special will stop at Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt and Mathura in both directions. South Central Railway said the rake will carry 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper and General Second Class coaches. (scr.indianrailways.gov.in) Indian Railways uses “summer specials” as temporary trains to absorb seasonal demand during school holidays, pilgrim travel and family visits. This one links Nanded in Maharashtra with Delhi through Marathwada, north Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and north India at the start of the peak vacation window. (scr.indianrailways.gov.in) The route already has the weekly Marathwada Sampark Kranti Express, train 12753, between Nanded and Hazrat Nizamuddin. RailYatri’s current schedule shows 12753 departing Nanded at 9:00 a.m. and reaching Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10:30 a.m. the next day, while the special adds another weekly departure during the rush period. (railyatri.in) Current timetable listings for 07621 show a Saturday departure from Hazur Sahib Nanded at 8:45 a.m. and arrival at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 2:00 p.m. the next day, covering 1,633 kilometers with 19 stops. Those timings come from live railway timetable aggregators and can still change by notification, platforming or operational revision. (etrain.info, redbus.in) Nanded division has long pitched itself as a gateway for religious and tourist traffic, including Hazur Sahib in Nanded and the Ajanta-Ellora belt around Aurangabad. The added halts at Aurangabad, Bhopal, Agra Cantt and Mathura also place the special across several major leisure and pilgrimage markets on the way to Delhi. (scr.indianrailways.gov.in, scr.indianrailways.gov.in) For passengers, the practical change is simple: one extra Nanded-Delhi option on Saturdays and one extra return on Sundays until the last weekend of May. After May 31, 2026, the route reverts to its regular services unless Indian Railways issues another extension or fresh special-train order. (scr.indianrailways.gov.in)
