Bears Sign Former Seahawk

The Chicago Bears signed a former Seahawk to a three-year, $40 million contract to fortify their secondary Bears 2026 free agency tracker: Offseason moves, signings.

The Bears' new acquisition is former Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams. Adams' contract includes $22 million in guaranteed money. Chicago hopes Adams will improve a defense that struggled against the pass last season. Adams, a Pro Bowler in 2018, 2019, and 2020, looks to regain his top form after injuries hampered his last few seasons in Seattle. He only played one game in 2022 due to a torn quad tendon.
