This cancellation marks another setback for the festival's return to Australia, which has been anticipated since its 2019 debut. A planned comeback in 2024 was also indefinitely postponed, making this the second time in recent years that the Australian expansion has failed to materialize. The 2026 lineup was slated to be a major draw, featuring headliners Gunna and Ken Carson, along with other prominent international artists like Sexyy Red, Tyga, Swae Lee, and Quavo.
