Atera Launches 'Robin' for Autonomous IT
Atera announced the launch of Robin by Atera, an autonomous, device-level agentic platform designed to resolve technical incidents before they create organizational gridlock. This platform aims to eliminate IT tickets by resolving technical incidents autonomously.
Atera, founded in 2011 in Israel by Gil Pekelman and Oshri Moyal, offers a cloud-based IT management platform that integrates Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Professional Services Automation (PSA), and remote access. It targets IT departments and managed service providers (MSPs). By 2024, Atera reported serving 12,000 users across 120 countries. Atera's platform includes features such as remote monitoring, patch management, scripting, and automation. It also provides help desk, ticketing, and reporting functionalities. In January 2023, Atera integrated OpenAI Codex to automate script generation. Atera has leaned into AI, launching IT Autopilot in May 2025, an agentic AI solution. Competitors to Atera include NinjaOne, N-able N-central, TeamViewer, SuperOps, and Action1. Atera's pricing is per technician, with different tiers offering varying features. For IT departments, plans include Professional ($149/month annually), Expert ($189/month annually), Master ($219/month annually), and Enterprise (custom pricing). MSP pricing starts at $129/month per technician (billed annually). The autonomous data platform market, which Atera participates in, was valued at $2.26 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $12.83 billion by 2034, exhibiting a CAGR of 21.47%. North America held the largest market share in 2025 at 37.67%. Atera's IT Autopilot can handle up to 40% of IT workloads, with response times as fast as 0.1 seconds and average resolution times of 15 minutes.
