VR immersion: 'Alien Rogue Incursion' shines
VR is leveling up! Alien Rogue Incursion on PSVR2 is getting rave reviews, with @MorchJosto calling it a "great game... flat gamers don't know what they're missing" [https://x.com/MorchJosto/status/2032032351287435653]. Check the full review video for more.
Alien: Rogue Incursion, developed by Survios, takes place between the *Alien* and *Aliens* films and casts you as Zula Hendricks, an ex-Colonial Marine. Hendricks is on a mission to expose Weyland-Yutani's black-site experiments on the planet Purdan. The game was released on December 19, 2024 for PSVR2 and Windows, and on February 13, 2025 for Meta Quest 3. The game is designed to be immersive, with detailed environments and Xenomorphs. However, some reviewers noted repetitive combat and occasional glitches. Despite these drawbacks, the game captures the atmosphere of the *Alien* universe. A non-VR version, *Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition*, was released on September 30, 2025, for Windows, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. The game is the first part of a two-part story, with a sequel in development.
