The festival boosted the island’s reputation for coffee tourism.

The 2026 Jamaica Food and Drink Festival spanned four days, showcasing Jamaican cuisine and culture. The festival, a three-time recipient of the World Culinary Awards Caribbean's Best Culinary Festival, attracted chefs, visitors, and tastemakers from across the Caribbean, the US, and the UK. Visa and CB Foods presented the event, which featured KUYAH, DECADE 2.0, Meet Street & The Market, and Boozy Brunch. The festival's "Meet Street and The Market" collaborated with the Tourism Enhancement Fund to host the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival. This collaboration created a unique gastronomic showcase at Hope Gardens. The event included a mixology competition, a barista competition, and interactive seminars. The festival was initially postponed from November due to Hurricane Melissa, but organizers rescheduled and partnered with the Coffee Festival. Over 70 booths featured artisans, chefs, and coffee connoisseurs. Live entertainment included DJ Delano of Renaissance, the Charlestown Maroons, and Etana.
