Casepoint Hires New Product Chief
Legal tech platform Casepoint has appointed Pete Feinberg as its Chief Product Officer. The hire of a CPO with over two decades in enterprise SaaS and AI underscores the legal industry's accelerating shift toward AI-driven workflow automation for tasks like document review and compliance.
Pete Feinberg's recent role as Chief Product Officer at Consilio saw him directing the strategy for a wide array of legal technologies. There, he was a leader for platforms such as Sightline and the recently expanded Aurora Legal AI Suite, which now serves over 10,000 daily users with capabilities like AI-integrated document review and legal operations intelligence. His track record includes an "AI-centric rapid-prototyping strategy" that resulted in the launch of several AI-powered solutions within a two-year timeframe. Feinberg's background also includes senior product leadership roles at the education technology company Blackboard and telecom firm GTT. Feinberg joins Casepoint as the legal industry sees a massive uptick in AI adoption. In 2025, the percentage of legal professionals using AI surged to 80%, a significant increase from 22% in the previous year. This trend is further evidenced by another 2025 report, which found that 74% of legal professionals expect to use AI-driven tools in their jobs within the next year. Casepoint has been developing its own patented AI technology, CaseAssist, which is designed to expedite document review and investigations through features like active learning and concept searching. The company's AI-powered solutions have been applied to new products, including Casepoint FOIA, a platform for managing Freedom of Information Act requests that has helped one defense agency increase its response rate by 217%. The company has a strong focus on the government sector, securing major contracts and renewals. Casepoint recently signed a five-year contract with the U.S. Department of the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps and holds a renewal with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Casepoint's platform has achieved high-level security authorizations, including the Department of Defense (DOD) Impact Level 6 (IL6), a distinction it states is unmatched by other companies in the legal tech industry.
