The Patagonia Mountain Bike: Chile and Argentina event kicked off on March 9, 2026 Patagonia Mountain Bike: Chile and Argentina. The 9-day journey starts in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, and ends with a ride down Cerro Otto. The package costs $3,100.

The event includes riding through the Enchanted Valley, whitewater rafting on the Manso River, and kayaking across Lago Azul. Participants will also experience a traditional Chilean asado. The journey involves crossing into Chile by bike and boat via Lago Puelo, staying at a remote riverside lodge. Cerro Otto, the ride's final destination, is a popular mountain biking location known for its Enduro and Descenso disciplines. Its accessible location near the city makes it a favorite for both residents and tourists. Popular trails include Picada del 7 and Bosque Cerro Otto. Paddle Patagonia, the tour organizer, specializes in multi-day mountain biking and whitewater kayak trips in Northern Patagonia. They also create custom multi-sport adventures. The Cerro Otto climb gains 617 meters in elevation. Reaching the summit offers views from 1,500 meters above sea level. Electric bikes are a popular choice for reaching the top.
