Sim Racing Gets New Cars, Track
iRacing launched its 2026 Season 2 with two new cars, a new track, and various enhancements for sim racers [https://www.iracing.com/iracing-2026-season-2-is-here/].
The two new cars added to iRacing are the Cadillac V-Series.R and the Ligier JS P320. The Cadillac V-Series.R is a hybrid Grand Touring Prototype, while the Ligier JS P320 is a Le Mans Prototype 3 car. The new track available in iRacing is the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. It is located in Italy and is known for hosting various motorcycle and racing events. iRacing has also implemented several enhancements, including an updated damage model for the Gen4 Cup car and the ARCA Menards Chevrolet Impala. Updates to the New Damage Model include more realistic and predictable interactions.
