Noma AI Security integrates with AWS Security Hub
AI security provider Noma Security announced that its platform is now available through the Extended plan in AWS Security Hub. The integration allows Amazon Web Services customers to access Noma's AI security solutions directly within the unified AWS security service.
The AWS Security Hub Extended plan moves beyond native AWS services, curating a selection of third-party security solutions. This allows customers to purchase and deploy tools from partners like Noma, CrowdStrike, and Okta directly from the AWS console under a single bill, using a pay-as-you-go model. Noma Security, founded in 2023 by Israeli Defense Forces' 8200 intelligence unit veterans Niv Braun and Alon Tron, specializes in security for AI applications and agents. The Tel Aviv-based startup has raised $132 million in funding, with a notable $100 million Series B round led by Evolution Equity Partners. The integration addresses a critical gap, as traditional security tools are not designed to handle AI-specific threats. These include new attack vectors like data poisoning, where training data is corrupted, and prompt injection attacks that can manipulate a model's output. Noma's platform provides end-to-end protection for the entire AI lifecycle, from discovery and posture management to threat mitigation and compliance. For instance, one Noma customer processes hundreds of millions of AI prompts monthly, using the platform to scan for risks in model artifacts and AI environments. This partnership is part of a broader trend of embedding specialized security directly into cloud operations. As enterprises increasingly adopt "agentic AI" — autonomous systems that act on behalf of users — the need for robust governance and security to manage these complex new risks is accelerating. A recent UBS Research report projects that 83% of organizations will have adopted AI agents by 2028. All security findings from Noma and other partners in the Extended plan are standardized into the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF). This normalization allows security teams to analyze and respond to threats across different vendors' tools from within a single, unified AWS Security Hub interface.
