Coachella's 'Head Trip' EDM Fest
Coachella's venue will host the first 'Head Trip' fest October 10-11, featuring Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, and Peggy Gou Goldenvoice Announces Head Trip Festival With Skrillex and Calvin Harris. Tickets go on sale March 13.
Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, is organizing this "one-time-only" event. It's being held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, on October 10 and 11. The festival boasts a single stage with no overlapping sets. Other artists include Fisher b2b Chris Lake (as Under Construction), Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, and Dom Dolla b2b Kettama. Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey are also on the bill. Head Trip will feature the U.S. debut of Floating Points' Sunflower Sound System. This immersive sound experience will be housed in a tent decorated with tapestries and art by Josephine Chime. Floating Points and special guests will DJ in the tent throughout the weekend. Tickets go on sale March 13 at 11 a.m. PT. General admission starts at $399. VIP passes are also available, and payment plans let you secure a spot for $99 down. The event is 18+.
