The "Ascended Heroes" set, released on January 30, 2026, combines international versions of cards from the Japanese sets MEGA Dream ex and Start Deck 100 Battle Collection. Mega Dragonite ex is a key card, boasting 180 HP and an attack called Giga Impact that deals 180 damage. Cynthia’s Garchomp ex is featured in a premium collection, including a full-art foil promo card, foil cards of Gible and Gabite, standees, a backdrop display, a sticker, and booster packs. As Champion of the Sinnoh region, Cynthia and her Garchomp have been partners since the beginning. The card "Corkscrew Dive" allows you to draw cards until you have 6 in your hand. Misty's Lapras, specifically card number 194/182 from the Destined Rivals set, is an Illustration Rare card. The "Swim Together" attack allows players to search their deck for up to three "Misty's Pokémon" cards. Competitive decks in the current meta include Gardevoir ex, Dragapult ex, Gholdengo ex, and Charizard ex. The Europe International Championships (EUIC) took place February 13–15, 2026.
