50 Cent Drops Max B Remix
Fresh off his widely publicized response to T.I.'s disses, 50 Cent has released a new Max B remix. This latest drop continues 50's streak of high-profile moves as he leverages both music and pop culture feuds to maintain momentum in the hip-hop spotlight. The remix showcases his ability to pivot quickly and keep fans engaged with new material.
The remixed track, "No More Tricks," originally appeared on Max B's December 2025 album *Public Domain 7: The Purge*. This project was the Harlem rapper's first full-length release following his high-profile release from prison just a month earlier. Born Charly Wingate, Max B was released on November 9, 2025, after serving 16 years of what was initially a 75-year sentence. In 2016, his original conviction for a 2006 robbery-murder was vacated due to a conflict of interest with a former attorney, and he subsequently accepted a plea deal for aggravated manslaughter, leading to a reduced 20-year sentence. This collaboration is one of the few official releases between the two artists, but it follows Max B expressing his desire to work with 50 Cent immediately upon his release. 50 Cent, in his characteristic fashion, used the news of Max B's freedom to publicly taunt his own long-time rival, Jim Jones. The connection is significant because Max B and Jim Jones have a well-documented and bitter feud. Their conflict began over contractual disputes and accusations of unfair compensation when Max B was instrumental in the success of Jones' ByrdGang crew. The beef escalated into diss tracks and public animosity that lasted for years.
