Rome Exhibits Recovered Art Trove
A new exhibition in Rome is showcasing the work of Italy's elite Carabinieri Art Theft Discovery Squad. The display highlights the country's ongoing battle against art crime and features masterpieces recovered by the specialized unit.
The Carabinieri's Cultural Heritage Protection unit (TPC) was founded in 1969, becoming the world's first specialized art police squad.
