The Redlands Bicycle Classic Legends' Fondo, scheduled for April 11, offers cyclists a chance to ride the same routes that have challenged professionals for over four decades. The event starts at 8 a.m. in downtown Redlands and features four routes of varying lengths to accommodate different skill levels. Participants can choose from routes of 40, 52, or 67 miles, or a shorter, more relaxed 15-mile "Taste of Redlands" ride. All routes begin with a lap on the Classic's eight-turn criterium circuit. The longer routes include iconic climbs such as Sunset Drive and the challenging Walnut circuit, which features a historic gravel section. The Redlands Bicycle Classic has been a proving ground for cycling legends, with its demanding circuits shaping Olympic and national champions. The climb to Oak Glen, included in the most challenging Fondo route, has tested many professional cyclists over the years. After the ride, participants can enjoy food and drinks at the Vendor Village. Registration includes access to rest stops, vehicle support, a $10 voucher for the Vendor Village, a finisher's medal, and complimentary bicycle valet service. The Redlands Bicycle Classic has a mantra: “Where Legends Are Born".
