Alex Warren's latest single is "soaring through the charts" just hours after his triumphant BRITs performance. Industry analysts predict it could even surpass the success of his prior hit "Ordinary" — signaling Warren's growing impact on UK and global pop scenes. The fresh surge came immediately following his live appearance at the 2026 Brit Awards ceremony.
The 25-year-old Californian performed his record-breaking hit "Ordinary" at the ceremony, held for the first time at Manchester's Co-op Live arena. The track was also nominated for International Song of the Year, adding to a breakout year for the artist. Warren's new single, "Fever Dream," was released just ahead of the awards show and is already on course to become his second UK No. 1 hit. Following his performance, his prior hit "Ordinary" also surged back up the charts, rising four places to number 15. The success of "Ordinary" in 2025 was monumental, holding the No. 1 spot on the UK Singles Chart for 13 consecutive weeks. This surpassed a 70-year-old record for the longest-running chart-topper by a US male solo artist. The song also spent 10 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. This momentum follows his debut album, "You'll Be Alright, Kid," which topped the UK Album Chart in July 2025 and produced six Top 40 singles. Before his music career, Warren gained a massive following as a founding member of the TikTok content creator group, The Hype House. The triumphant BRITs appearance served as a redemption after his Grammy Awards performance last month was marred by technical difficulties with his in-ear monitor. At the Grammys, Warren was nominated for Best New Artist, an award he won at the 2025 MTV VMAs. Next up, Warren is set to embark on his "Little Orphan Alex Live" arena tour, which kicks off in April 2026 with dates across Europe and the UK, including a stop at London's O2 Arena.
