Millikin University is trying to turn “I can’t quit my job to go back to school” into “I can finish teacher training in two years.” Its new online Elementary Education track is built for working adults and transfer students, with teaching-methods classes delivered in 8-week asynchronous blocks instead of a traditional semester schedule.
