Hexaware and Replit Partner on Enterprise AI

IT services provider Hexaware Technologies has announced a partnership with AI platform Replit. The joint offering aims to accelerate the process of moving from rapid prototyping to full production for enterprise applications by integrating Replit's platform with Hexaware's services.

- The partnership introduces a concept called "secure Vibe Coding," which combines Replit's natural language-powered development platform with Hexaware's enterprise-grade governance and security protocols. This allows business users in departments like sales, marketing, and operations to build internal tools and applications using natural language, reducing reliance on IT departments. - Replit's platform provides features essential for enterprise adoption, including SSO, SOC2 compliance, private deployments, and role-based access controls. Hexaware builds on this by embedding its own security and governance frameworks directly into the development process to ensure compliance with corporate IT policies. - A key technical aspect of the collaboration is the use of Replit's "agentic AI" architecture. This allows autonomous AI agents, guided by Hexaware's expertise, to handle complex backend development tasks, freeing users to focus on business logic and outcomes. - Replit CEO Amjad Masad has stated the company's mission is to empower individuals to turn ideas into software regardless of coding experience, and this partnership extends that mission into large enterprises. Hexaware's CEO, R Srikrishna, has emphasized an "AI-first" strategy, aiming for AI to positively impact all client work daily, which aligns with this joint offering. - The collaboration is designed to directly address common enterprise bottlenecks, such as long IT development queues for internal tools and the slow pace of iterating on new product ideas. It enables product and design teams to rapidly prototype and test concepts directly. - Replit's enterprise offering, which forms the foundation for this partnership, is available through cloud marketplaces like Azure and Google Cloud, simplifying procurement for large companies. The enterprise plan includes dedicated support, advanced security, and custom service level agreements. - This move is part of a broader strategy for Hexaware, which recently launched "Zero License," an initiative to help enterprises replace traditional SaaS workflows with agentic AI, reducing software licensing costs. The Replit partnership provides a platform to accelerate this strategy.
