Ford Racing Launches V8 Supercharger Program

Ford Racing Parts just revealed a direct-order supercharger program for the 5.0L V8 engine. This makes high-powered modifications way more accessible to enthusiasts who want factory-backed forced induction. The program bypasses traditional aftermarket channels for official Ford performance upgrades.

Developed in partnership with Whipple Superchargers, the program offers kits for both the F-150 and Mustang models equipped with the 5.0-liter Coyote V8. For the F-150, the 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger boosts performance to 700 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The kit for the 2026 Mustang GT and Dark Horse is even more potent, pushing output to 810 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque with the active valve exhaust. The Mustang package includes additional hardware like a 92mm throttle body and fuel injectors sourced from the Shelby GT500. This isn't just a collection of parts; it's a factory-backed upgrade. When installed by a Ford dealer or an ASE-certified technician, the supercharger kit is backed by a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. The kits are priced around $10,500 and include the Gen 6 3.0L Whipple blower, a dual-pass intercooler, and a specific calibration tuner for installation. For 2026 models, buyers can even have the supercharger installed at the factory when ordering a new vehicle. This program builds on previous Ford Performance offerings, such as the similar FP700 package for 2021-2023 F-150s, which also delivered 700 horsepower. The new program makes these high-performance, warranty-backed upgrades more directly accessible.
