Free Ghost of Yōtei DLC
PlayStation launched free DLC "Legends (冥人奇譚)" for Ghost of Yōtei, a max-4-player co-op mode battling yokai versions of the Rokurokushū [https://x.com/i/status/2031535576629772375].
The "Legends" DLC brought a significant shift from the main game's grounded samurai themes into supernatural folklore. Players could team up online to tackle wave-based survival missions and story missions steeped in Japanese mythology. Sucker Punch Productions, the developer, designed "Legends" with distinct character classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin. Each class offered unique abilities and playstyles, encouraging cooperative strategies to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. The Rokurokushū, reimagined as yokai, presented a formidable threat, demanding skillful coordination and mastery of each class.
