FanLap debuts AI fan-creator platform

FanLap is launching a platform aimed at turning fans into content creators by using AI to scrape and analyse fan videos, then auto‑rewarding participants with points tied to engagement ROI. The system promises multi-platform support for TikTok, YouTube, X and Instagram and removes upfront influencer fees by rewarding performance instead (x.com).

FanLap is rolling out a rewards platform that pays Formula 1 fans in points for social posts, likes and shares tied to their online activity. (fanlap.app) The site says users can connect social accounts, run a free “Aura Simulator,” and see estimated monthly earnings based on fan content. Examples shown on the landing page range from about 2,800 Aura a month for 12 posts to about 33,800 Aura for 89 posts. (fanlap.app) FanLap says it scans social-network activity and turns that activity into an Aura score, then lets users redeem points for merchandise and experiences. Rewards shown on the site include team caps, hoodies, the F1 25 video game, ticket access and a paddock pass. (fanlap.app) The basic pitch is a performance-pay model for fandom: fans post first, the platform measures the response, and rewards come later instead of brands paying an influencer fee upfront. FanLap’s terms say it analyzes publicly available social-media content to calculate points that “may be redeemable” for rewards, merchandise or experiences. (fanlap.app 1) (fanlap.app 2) That puts FanLap between a loyalty program and a creator marketplace. Instead of paying for tickets or merch with cash alone, users are meant to trade social attention for perks, with the platform ranking activity and pushing leaderboards. (fanlap.app) For now, the product is tightly framed around Formula 1 fandom, not the sport’s official operators. FanLap says it is “not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to” Formula One Management, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, or any Formula 1 teams or drivers. (fanlap.app) The privacy and terms pages also draw a line around what the company says it uses. FanLap says it analyzes publicly available content, and its privacy notice says it works with third-party vendors for hosting, analytics and payment processing. (fanlap.app 1) (fanlap.app 2) The company is presenting the launch as an opening phase rather than a fully mature marketplace. The homepage asks users to “Become a founding member” and says they can be “the first to earn Aura when the paddocks open.” (fanlap.app) If FanLap can keep fans posting and redeeming, it will be testing whether sports enthusiasm can be turned into a measurable rewards economy one clip, repost and comment at a time.
