50 Cent Escalates T.I. Feud
The ongoing feud between 50 Cent and T.I. escalated as 50 Cent released a diss verse in the new theme song for the Power Origins series, alongside Leon Thomas. This marks a notable return volley in their public rivalry, bringing their beef into his TV franchise's soundtrack.
The feud's recent ignition traces back to a long-standing challenge from T.I. for a Verzuz battle, which 50 Cent has repeatedly declined. T.I. publicly called out 50 Cent for "ducking smoke" on the "Nightcap" podcast with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco in early February 2026, escalating the war of words. Instead of a musical battle, 50 Cent opted for social media trolling, posting an unflattering photo of T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, and comparing their son, King Harris, to Pepe the Frog. This provoked a furious response from King, who fired back with insults directed at 50 Cent's deceased mother. T.I.'s other son, Domani, also released a diss track aimed at the G-Unit mogul. While T.I. has released a series of diss tracks aimed at 50 Cent, the "Power" executive has largely refrained from musical responses until now, preferring to use social media for his attacks. This new verse marks a shift in his strategy, embedding the conflict directly into his television empire. The lyrical jabs in the "Power Origins" theme song appear to reference past sexual assault allegations against T.I. and his wife, which they have denied. In a since-deleted Instagram post, 50 Cent also threatened to produce a documentary about the allegations, similar to his series on Sean "Diddy" Combs. In response to the theme song diss and documentary threat, T.I. posted on Instagram, "We can go bar for bar, hit for hit, or doc for doc… either way all you gon do is show how much of a FN u is." He also released a new song titled "Trauma Bond" aimed at 50 Cent.
