Acoustic AI Health Robots Go Global
Datasea Inc. is accelerating the global commercialization of its Acoustic + AI health care robots. The company says it has achieved initial technical service revenue as it pushes for wider deployment and scalable applications in both China and international markets.
The company's primary partner in this initiative is Yizhimei Technology Co., Ltd., with the collaboration focusing on AI-driven "head-care" robots for health and wellness applications. These systems have already been deployed in over 50 cities across China, supporting approximately 300 service locations. Together, Datasea and Yizhimei have set ambitious expansion targets, aiming for deployment in more than 3,000 locations within China and about 1,500 internationally. A separate 18-month plan specifically aims to deploy as many as 10,000 acoustic haircare robots across China, targeting health and lifestyle venues. The international strategy has already established market cooperation with regional partners in South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This global push is supported by the establishment of a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary, Datasea Acoustics LLC, in July 2023. Datasea's underlying technology leverages ultrasonic, infrasound, and directional sound for applications beyond haircare, including neuro-regulation and acupoint stimulation. For the head-care robots, the company provides the core acoustic technology, optimizes algorithms, and handles system-level integration. The NASDAQ-listed company (DTSS) operates a "dual-engine" strategy with business segments in both Acoustic High-Tech and 5G-AI Multimodal Digitalization. Datasea reported a 199% year-over-year revenue increase for the 2025 fiscal year, reaching $71.62 million, though financial analyses note its gross margins have been low.
