Three Injured in Lisbon Shooting

A shooting on Rua do Benformoso in Lisbon has injured three people. One man was taken to hospital in critical condition with a torso wound, while the other two victims sustained less serious injuries.

- The shooting occurred at approximately 12:40 AM and was reportedly a drive-by, with shots fired from a moving vehicle. - The three victims are men between the ages of 29 and 43. One is reportedly Portuguese, and the other two are foreign nationals. - The most seriously injured victim was operated on after being shot in the torso and is now in stable condition. The other two men were treated for wounds to the head and a foot but were not in life-threatening condition. - Authorities have recovered a firearm and several bullet casings near the scene of the crime. The Public Security Police (PSP) has increased its presence in the area following the incident. - While no arrests have been made, police have reportedly identified one suspect; the case has been handed over to the Judiciary Police (Polícia Judiciária) for investigation. - The Rua do Benformoso, located near Martim Moniz, is known for its diverse immigrant communities and has been the focus of police raids and crime prevention operations in the recent past due to incidents of violence.
