Gap's Spring campaign features Young Miko, blending music and fashion with a nod to preppy styles Gap Turns Its Spring Campaign Into a Music Video With Young Miko.
Young Miko's "WASSUP" gets a refresh for the campaign, with a music video directed by Bethany Vargas and shot by Olivia Malone. Choreography is by Zoi Tatopoulos, featuring a dance break led by 26 predominantly Latin dancers. Styled by Caroline Newell and Alastair McKimm, the music video showcases GapSweats as a canvas for creativity. Young Miko sports Heavyweight and Extra Heavyweight GapSweats, including the iconic arch logo hoodie. The dancers wear a range of fleece silhouettes, highlighting the collection's versatility. Gap's CMO, Fabiola Torres, notes the campaign meets audiences where culture is happening through music, movement, and storytelling. Torres says the campaign arrives at a defining moment for Latin music, a genre that has shaped global culture across generations. Gap's President and CEO, Mark Breitbard, says Young Miko helped create a visual extension of her music, positioning GapSweats as a canvas for self-expression. This is Gap's first campaign presented in Spanish. Young Miko, a Puerto Rican Latin trap artist, says working with Gap felt natural because they gave her space to express herself and her culture authentically.
