Widowspeak announced Roses as their seventh studio album, with a release date of June 5, 2026 via Captured Tracks. (capturedtracks.com) The band recorded Roses in January at the Old Carpet Factory on the Greek island of Hydra and brought in longtime touring members Willy Muse, John Andrews and Noah Bond for the sessions. (capturedtracks.com) Roses was mixed by Alex Farrar at Drop of Sun Studios and mastered by Greg Obis at Chicago Mastering, according to the album credits. (ourculturemag.com) (capturedtracks.com) The “If You Change” video is credited to production company Otium and was explicitly inspired by Molly Hamilton’s childhood reading of The Velveteen Rabbit and the song’s themes about the fear of change. (jambase.com) (whynow.co.uk) A North American tour supporting Roses begins June 16 at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, with additional stops including Philadelphia, Nashville, Minneapolis and San Francisco; tickets go on sale Friday, March 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time. (capturedtracks.com) (bowerypresents.com) Roses contains ten tracks — opening with “The Hook” and closing with “Hourglass” — and places the single “If You Change” as track four on the album’s published tracklist.
