Svalbard Arctic Expeditions Launch

The number of cruise passengers also doubled in a similar timeframe. - The itinerary for these expeditions is flexible and dependent on ice and weather conditions. Potential destinations include Northwest Svalbard National Park, the islands of Sjuøyane (some of the northernmost land on Earth), and Kongsfjorden, a hub for Arctic research. - A visit to Ny-Ålesund, the world's northernmost permanent civilian settlement, is also part of the planned itinerary.
