Shipyard bootcamp launches

Superteam Türkiye launched 'Shipyard', a bootcamp designed to prepare Turkish builders to compete in Colosseum Frontier—the world’s largest online startup contest—aiming to help founders sharpen product and pitch readiness. The programme is an example of local accelerators doubling down on founder preparation for global competitions. (x.com/SuperteamTR/status/2042549923292262456)

A startup contest that runs entirely online is now big enough that local teams are building prep schools around it. In Türkiye, Superteam Türkiye has launched Shipyard to take founders from idea stage to a finished submission for Colosseum Frontier. (luma.com) Shipyard is not a one-off meetup. Superteam Türkiye describes it as a bootcamp series aimed at helping builders in Türkiye move “from idea to submission” and then climb the hackathon leaderboard. (luma.com) The contest it is targeting runs from April 6 to May 11, 2026. Colosseum says Frontier is an online Solana hackathon, and winning teams are interviewed for its accelerator program. (colosseum.com, blog.colosseum.com) The money on the table is large enough to change how small founder communities organize. Colosseum lists $250,000 in pre-seed funding for accepted accelerator teams, plus a $30,000 grand champion award and other category prizes. (colosseum.com) Shipyard’s calendar shows why this looks more like founder training than a normal community event. One listing runs April 6 to May 11, matching the hackathon window, and another in-person session is scheduled for April 18. (competehub.dev, competehub.dev) Superteam Türkiye is part of a broader network built around finding and helping local talent build on Solana. Its Türkiye site says the group exists to help promising projects in Turkey launch and grow, using a co-operative of developers, creatives, and operators. (superteam.fun) That local layer matters because global online contests reward polish, not just code. Superteam Türkiye’s own event page frames Shipyard around hackathon preparation, Colosseum opportunities, team formation, and getting more projects from Türkiye into the Solana ecosystem. (luma.com) This is already a pattern across the network, not just a Türkiye experiment. Superteam India’s Frontier post pitches the same funnel from hackathon entry to accelerator funding, and cites six India-linked teams that previously won and later raised through the accelerator. (superteam.fun) So Shipyard is really a response to a new kind of startup pipeline. When a five-week online contest can lead to pre-seed checks, mentor access, and accelerator interviews, local communities stop acting like social clubs and start acting like training camps.
