Lemonade Days Dunwoody Neighborhood Festival

Lemonade Days opens Wednesday, April 22, for a five-day run at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, with free admission and rides, games, and food sold separately. Hours are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. (dunwoodyga.gov) The Dunwoody Preservation Trust says the event includes more than 20 midway rides, a food court, a beer garden, weekend pony rides, and a petting zoo. Unlimited ride wristbands cost $25 on Wednesday and $35 from Thursday through Sunday. The Trust and Discover Dunwoody say it has since become a signature local event that has historically drawn more than 80,000 festivalgoers. The city says festival profits support rehabilitation and maintenance of the 1870 Donaldson-Bannister Farm, along with education programs and community events. A 5K race is set for Saturday, April 25, at 9 a.m. in Brook Run Park.
