50 Cent Disses T.I. Again
50 Cent dropped a new theme song for *Power: Origins* featuring Leon Thomas that contains pointed shots at T.I., continuing their public feud that reignited last month. The track, released March 5, marks 50 Cent's first new music since the beef escalated, with fans dissecting the bars for hidden references.
The rivalry between 50 Cent and T.I. stretches back to the late 2000s. In 2007, after T.I. received a lenient sentence on federal gun charges, 50 Cent publicly labeled him a "snitch" and questioned the plea deal on the 2008 G-Unit track "You So Tough." Tensions simmered for years, with occasional verbal jabs, including 50 Cent suggesting in 2010 that T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, should have taken the blame for a drug possession charge. The feud remained largely dormant until it was reignited during the COVID-19 pandemic when T.I. repeatedly challenged 50 Cent to a Verzuz battle, a request the G-Unit mogul mostly ignored. The beef escalated significantly in February 2026 after T.I. claimed on the "Nightcap" podcast that 50 Cent was "ducking smoke" by avoiding the Verzuz matchup. This led to a war of words on social media, with 50 Cent posting memes targeting T.I.'s wife and son, King Harris. In response, T.I. released a series of diss tracks aimed at 50 Cent, including “War,” “The Right One,” and “What Bully.” His sons, King and Domani Harris, also released their own diss tracks, with King Harris wearing a t-shirt featuring an image of 50 Cent's deceased mother in a music video, a move T.I. later said went too far. 50 Cent's musical response arrived as a verse on the theme song for his new Starz series, *Power: Origins*. The lyrics allude to sexual assault allegations against T.I. and Tiny, rapping, "Your daddy made your mama eat every box in Atlanta / Freak st, peep st, keep s**t on the low / But everybody know." The new track is tied to the fourth spinoff of the *Power* universe, *Power: Origins*, which will explore the backstory of the original series' main characters, Ghost and Tommy. The prequel has been greenlit for an 18-episode first season and is currently filming in New Jersey, with a likely 2026 premiere. In addition to the diss track, 50 Cent has threatened to produce a documentary about the numerous sexual assault allegations against T.I. and his wife. T.I. has publicly dared him to do so, responding on Instagram with "We can go bar for bar, hit for hit, or doc for doc."
