DaVinci Awards Announces First 2026 Winners

The DaVinci Awards, a new international program that recognizes innovation, is operated by the same team that has run the well-regarded Cloud Awards since 2011. The awards aim to honor the "polymath" spirit of Leonardo da Vinci by celebrating achievements across technology, business, products, and lifestyle. CEO James Williams stated that the awards seek to recognize an "exceptional commitment to their craft, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved." Unlike a single winner-per-category model, the DaVinci Awards utilize a tiered system of accreditation, awarding one, two, or a coveted three-star certification to winners. This structure allows for the recognition of various levels of achievement and innovation. The judging panel is comprised of a global team of experts in their respective fields. For the inaugural 2026 technology awards, entries were invited from a wide range of specializations, including AI, cybersecurity, smart devices, and data management. The evaluation process is category-agnostic, meaning any project, business, or product in the tech space could be nominated for consideration. One of the first announced winners in the technology category is AxisCare, a provider of home care management software, which earned a two-star certification. The DaVinci Awards' COO, Annabelle Whittall, highlighted the judges' admiration for the "clarity of the problem being addressed and the platform's practical, scalable execution." The technology awards are just one of four pillars for the DaVinci Awards. The program also accepts nominations throughout the year for business, lifestyle, and product innovation, with winners in those sectors to be announced later in 2026. The next slate of technology award winners is scheduled to be announced in February 2027.
