Jamaica: Street Food Meets Coffee

Jamaica is hosting a street food and coffee festival as part of JFDF 2026. It's designed to highlight the island’s culinary tourism.

The 2026 Jamaica Food and Drink Festival (JFDF) featured a collaboration with the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Festival at the Royal Botanical Gardens. The joint event, called "Meet Street and The Market," showcased Jamaican street food alongside Blue Mountain coffee from over 80 vendors. The festival included a barista competition, won by Rusean Waite from Café Blue Fontana in Montego Bay. Randeen Thomas won the mixology competition. Tourism Enhancement Fund Executive Director Dr. Carey Wallace highlighted the importance of the festival in promoting Jamaica as a prime destination for gastronomy and coffee, in addition to its traditional attractions. The festival aimed to elevate traditional island flavors and present them on a global culinary stage.
