Blues End 10-Game Road Skid

The St. Louis Blues snapped their 10-game road losing streak with a dramatic victory over Minnesota Wild, thanks to Pavel Buchnevich's late third-period goal. The win provides crucial momentum for a team struggling to turn around their season performance.

The victory was St. Louis' first road win since Dec. 20, 2025, when they defeated the Florida Panthers. The 10-game skid that followed was the team's longest in more than a decade, creating a significant hurdle in their season's trajectory. During the losing streak, the Blues were outscored substantially, dropping games to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Colorado Avalanche, Chicago Blackhawks, Utah, Vegas Golden Knights, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, and Dallas Stars. This rough patch solidified their position at the bottom of the Central Division. The win in Minnesota was also marked by the return of top-line center Robert Thomas, who had been sidelined for 13 games with a lower-body injury. Thomas made an immediate impact, assisting on a goal by Logan Mailloux. Pavel Buchnevich's game-winning goal extended his personal point streak to five games. Alexey Toropchenko also scored for the Blues, while goaltender Joel Hofer made 22 saves in the much-needed victory.
