Fractyl launches one-time GLP-1 trial

Fractyl Health said on May 12 that Dutch regulators authorized a first-in-human study of RJVA-001, a pancreas-targeted gene therapy the company is developing for type 2 diabetes. The Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said the candidate is the first gene therapy to enter clinical development for the disease.
