Hawks Soar with 7th Straight Win
The Atlanta Hawks extended their win streak to seven games after beating the Mavericks 124-112 Peachtree Hoops – the longest active winning streak in the NBA AJC.
Dejounte Murray led the Hawks with 25 points, while Luka Dončić scored 39 for the Mavericks. Despite Dončić's efforts, the Mavericks couldn't overcome Atlanta's balanced attack and strong defense. The Hawks' Trae Young contributed 18 points and 12 assists, marking his 35th double-double of the season. Atlanta also had strong performances from Bogdan Bogdanović and Jalen Johnson, who added 20 and 19 points respectively. Atlanta's victory places them firmly in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. The Hawks are currently 7th in the Eastern Conference standings.
