Eric Clapton Announces 2026 US Tour

Guitar legend Eric Clapton is returning to U.S. stages with a newly announced 2026 tour. This gives fans a fresh opportunity to catch the blues-rock icon live after his recent touring hiatus. Full dates and ticket information are now available.

This new set of U.S. dates follows a more limited run of shows in September 2025, which included stops in cities like Nashville and New York City. Before hitting the American Midwest, Clapton is scheduled to complete an extensive European tour in the spring and early summer of 2026, with performances planned in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland. The tour comes in support of his 2024 album, *Meanwhile*, a project that features six new original songs alongside eight previously released singles. The album includes collaborations with the late Jeff Beck and several tracks with Van Morrison. Reviews of *Meanwhile* have noted its blend of blues, acoustic ballads, and what some have described as a tranquil and reflective tone. Fans attending the 2026 shows can likely expect a mix of his classic hits and newer material. Recent setlists from his 2024 performances have included iconic songs like "Sunshine of Your Love," "Key to the Highway," "Tears in Heaven," and "Cocaine," alongside tracks from the *Meanwhile* album. Joining Clapton for these U.S. dates is special guest Jimmie Vaughan, a renowned Texas blues guitarist and singer. Vaughan is known for co-founding the band The Fabulous Thunderbirds and is the older brother of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan. The connection between Clapton and Jimmie Vaughan is a long and storied one, deeply rooted in the blues community. Their shared history includes a poignant performance on August 26, 1990, when Stevie Ray Vaughan joined both Clapton and his brother on stage shortly before the helicopter crash that took his life. Clapton’s touring band for the 2026 dates is slated to include a lineup of seasoned musicians. The band features Doyle Bramhall II on guitar, Nathan East on bass, Sonny Emory on drums, and Chris Stainton and Tim Carmon on keyboards.
