But the real draw is that Shiny Meltan is back too, and that almost always changes how people plan their play sessions. ### What’s actually new here? Orthworm is the new arrival. It’s the Paldea Earthworm Pokémon, and this event is its first appearance in Pokémon GO. Niantic also made the shiny available right away, which matters because some debuts land first and only get shiny odds much later. Here, collectors don’t have to wait. It’s not just hanging around everywhere in the wild. It’s appearing in three-star raids.
