50 Cent Disses T.I.

50 Cent released the theme song for his upcoming series "Power: Origins" featuring Leon Thomas — and it contains pointed disses aimed at T.I., reigniting their ongoing feud. This comes after T.I. re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 earlier this week.

The animosity between the two rappers dates back to at least 2007, when 50 Cent labeled T.I. a "snitch" following T.I.'s plea deal on federal gun charges. The feud has simmered ever since, with 50 Cent also publicly commenting on T.I. and his wife Tiny's subsequent legal issues in 2010. This latest clash was reignited in February 2026 after T.I. claimed on the "Nightcap" podcast that 50 Cent was "ducking smoke" by avoiding a Verzuz battle. T.I. had been publicly calling for a musical showdown against the G-Unit mogul since the pandemic began, a challenge 50 Cent mostly met with silence or derision. The new theme song, "No One Told Us What We're Here For," contains the pointed lyrics, "Your daddy made your mama eat every box in Atlanta / Freak st, peep st, keep s**t, on the low / But everybody know." These lines are widely interpreted as a reference to past sexual assault allegations made against T.I. and his wife. In response to the escalating feud, T.I. and his sons, King and Domani Harris, have all released their own diss tracks aimed at 50 Cent. 50 Cent, known for his social media trolling, has threatened to produce a documentary focusing on the allegations against T.I. and Tiny, similar to his recent documentary on Sean "Diddy" Combs. The track serves as the theme for "Power: Origins," the fifth installment in the "Power" universe which will explore the backstory of popular characters Ghost and Tommy. 50 Cent serves as an executive producer for the prequel series, which has been greenlit for a supersized 18-episode first season. The renewed conflict coincides with T.I.'s musical resurgence. His Pharrell-produced single "LET EM KNOW" recently became his first song to enter the Billboard Hot 100's top 40 since 2014. The track is slated to appear on his upcoming and reportedly final album, "Kill The King."
