Lucian Msamati Joins Social Thriller

Lucian Msamati, known for 'Game of Thrones' and 'His Dark Materials,' has joined the cast of 'Found,' a social thriller exploring complex themes through suspense-driven narrative. The casting adds serious dramatic weight to what's being positioned as a high-concept thriller with social commentary.

'Found' is the feature directorial debut for Kalungi Ssebandeke, who also penned the original script. Ssebandeke is an actor, writer, and filmmaker whose debut play, 'Assata Taught Me,' starred Adjoa Andoh and is set to return to London's Riverside Studios. The film is being produced by Henry Hereford of Lucky Sunday Pictures, who also produced 'To Leslie,' and Ssebandeke's own Sse So Production. Hereford's acting credits include 'Luther: The Fallen Sun' and 'CSI Vegas'. 'Found' aims to explore the impact of unconscious biases on individuals and society, with plans to collaborate with organizations within the criminal justice system for authenticity. The plot centers on Xavier Prince, a troubled man whose good deed results in a murder accusation. With circumstantial evidence against him, he must rely on his estranged childhood sweetheart, a criminal law student, to uncover the truth before the justice system closes in. The cast also includes Joseph Arkley ('The Capture'), Jumayn Hunter ('Attack the Block'), and Doreene Blackstock ('Sex Education').
