Camden County will bring its free Summer Parks Concert Series back in 2026, with shows running from June 3 to Sept. 21 at parks and waterfront venues across the county. (camdencounty.com) County commissioners announced the schedule on April 22. The series includes the Sunset Jazz Series at Wiggins Park on Mondays, the Haddon Lake Park Sundown Music Series on Wednesdays, the Twilight Concert Series at Cooper River Park on Thursdays, plus Friday and weekend shows in Lindenwold and Winslow. (camdencounty.com) The biggest names on the county’s published schedule include Brian McKnight on June 15, Kid ’N Play on July 13, Boney James on July 19, Victor Wooten & The Wooten Brothers on Sept. 14, Augustana on July 15, Sixpence None the Richer on July 29, Max Weinberg’s Jukebox on June 11, and Al Jardine & the Pet Sounds Band on July 16. (camdencounty.com) The July 4 Freedom Festival at Wiggins Park is scheduled to feature the Commodores at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks over the Delaware River. The county also lists the Xponential Music Festival at Wiggins Park for Sept. 19-21. (camdencounty.com) Camden County is using the concert series as a parks program as much as a music calendar. On its event page, the county says the shows are meant to activate 2,700 acres of parkland across the system. (camdencounty.com) That gives the county a large local audience to draw from. The U.S. Census Bureau estimates Camden County’s population at 535,799 as of July 1, 2025. (census.gov) The county has framed the series as a regular summer offering rather than a one-off event. Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said the concerts have become “a staple of a Camden County summer” and are designed to bring residents into local parks for free performances. (camdencounty.com) The schedule stretches from Grammy-winning New Orleans band Tank and the Bangas on June 8 to the Miguel Zenón Quartet on Aug. 31, with tribute acts and regional performers filling out the calendar in between. For Camden County, the pitch is simple: national touring acts, no ticket charge, and a summer-long run in public parks. (camdencounty.com)
