Final Four weekend expands

Indianapolis won’t just host the D1 Final Four on April 4 and 6 — the weekend will also crown DII, DIII and NIT champions, turning the city into a singular college‑basketball festival. (ncaa.org)

The NIT semifinals are scheduled for Thursday, April 2 at Butler’s Hinkle Fieldhouse with tipoffs at 7:00 p.m. ET and 9:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN and ESPN2. (ncaa.com) Gainbridge Fieldhouse will host a tripleheader on Easter Sunday: the Division II championship at 1:00 p.m. ET (CBS), the Division III title at 4:30 p.m. ET (ESPN+), and the NIT championship at about 8:00 p.m. ET (ESPN2). (ncaa.com) Lucas Oil Stadium will stage the Division I semifinals on Saturday, April 4 — first game at 6:00 p.m. ET and second at 8:30 p.m. ET — and the national championship at 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday, April 6, with TBS carrying the title game and additional coverage across TNT, truTV and streaming platforms. (ncaa.com) The NCAA’s official weekend listings name Thursday’s NIT matchups as Tulsa vs. New Mexico at 7:00 p.m. ET and Illinois State vs. Auburn at 9:30 p.m. ET. (ncaa.org) The NCAA notes this is the first time in history that all four men’s postseason championships will be decided in a single city during the same week, and Indianapolis will be hosting its ninth Division I Final Four. (ncaa.org) The NCAA is selling tickets to the NIT semifinals and championship, the Division II and III title games, and all rounds of the Division I tournament through its mbbtickets portal at ncaa.com/mbbtickets.
